Gravelands marked a significant leap forward for London’s horror-punk-metal trio. With crisp production by Wayne Adams, it balanced distorted riff‑power with enough clarity to let the energy breathe. The atmosphere was drenched in horror-movie aesthetics: tight, rapid riffs engulfed in lo‑fi textures, like the soundtrack to a gritty grindhouse chase. 

Channelling a blend of stoner/doom, horror punk, classic heavy metal, and thrash, the album leans heavily on fuzzed-out riffing, frenetic tempo shifts, and a grimy aesthetic. It evokes High on Fire, Fu Manchu, and old-school Sabbath, but imbued with a distinct British edge. Despite influences, the band earns praise for forging their own scuzzy, sarcastic personality.
