Corrupt Moral Altar - Patiently Waiting For Wonderful Things

It's been three long years since the Liverpudlians' Eunoia album was released, and six years since their genre-defining full-length debut Mechanical Tides was met with universal critical acclaim. Since then John Cooke (guitar) has kept himself busy touring with Napalm Death and Venemos Concept, Tom Dring (drums) has been producing bands - including Venom Prison and APF lads Video Nasties - at his Vagrant Recordings studio, Chris Reese has performed with HorseBastard.... let's just say they've all been keeping (in and) out of mischief.

Patiently Waiting For Wonderful Things features five full-on CMA bangers, recorded by Tom Dring and mastered by Russ Russell (Dimmu Borgir, At The Gates, Evile). 

Vocalist Chris Reese comments, 'Yeah we have been quiet for a while but that’s life and we had shit to do BUT we are back now and with some powerfully ignorant songs for truly ignorant times. 

Let’s face it, the world looks pretty bleak at the moment. We were inspired by recent events to write songs that reflect the absurd and surreal landscape we are experiencing so right now feels like the perfect time for CMA. 

We are ever the optimists in CMA so the future holds more music and back to playing live which we all miss. Just like you, we are Patiently Waiting For Wonderful Things.”
