"'Harvest of Flies feels like a very natural progression from Dominion and Draw The Shades", says VN bassist Rick Owen. "At its core it's still very much us but we wanted to explore other areas we only got the chance to touch upon on the first album and experiment with new dynamics. Lyrically, the song is about the duality of the haves/have nots, the living and the dead."
