Spider Kitten's new album, God Don't Sleep, is out today.

Five tracks, forty minutes, and the heaviest, most ambitious ground the band have covered since Ark of Octofelis a decade ago.

It’s been best described by a couple of reviewers:

"Spider Kitten have found gold once more, by being only themselves and seeing where that takes them. It is a joy to be able to follow that path." - Ninehertz

"Dense atmospherics and softly crooned vocals whisper madness into your brain, which does little to prepare you for the fuzzed-out hammer blow of the sludge riffing to come. The band move through phases, building to peaks and then falling back to tease out new directions." - The Sleeping Shaman

There's more to this album than the five songs, though. Those who’ve bought a CD or tape should look closely at the sleeve. Some listeners will just want to hear the album. Others will want to go further. Both are the right way in.

CD, tape, t-shirt and bundles are in our shop now. The album is also on Bandcamp and all streaming services, and you can hear it in full on YouTube.
